    Child Advocacy (MA) Faculty Perspectives: Advocating for Children in 2025

    Faculty of the Child Advocacy and Policy MA program are leaders in the field who possess different areas of expertise. Join us for a virtual panel discussion where you will hear three faculty perspectives on the current climate, challenges, and opportunities within child advocacy. This session will conclude with an opportunity for Q&A with the panelists.

    Panelists:
    • Nydia Y. Monagas, Psy.D: Associate Teaching Professor at Montclair State University within the Department of Social Work and Child Advocacy as well as the Director of Training and Statewide Initiatives at New Jersey's Children's Alliance.
    • Helen Archontou, MSW, LSW: Chief Executive Officer of YWCA Northern New Jersey
    • Joseph A. Del Russo, Esq: practicing attorney and former Chief Assistant Prosecutor in the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office
    • Nicole Lytle, Ph.D: Associate Professor of Social Work and Child Advocacy. Dr. Lytle teaches courses on forensic interviewing of children, developmental psychology, and forensic psychology.
