Computational Linguistics (Certificate)

Montclair's Graduate Certificate in Computational Linguistics gives students the building blocks needed to enter the interdisciplinary field where language technology meets computer science. In this session, you'll learn how the program builds foundational knowledge in algorithms, data structures, and core computational linguistics methods for emerging tech and research careers.

Study the intersection of language technology and computer science in a focused graduate certificate format.

Computational Linguistics (MS)

Montclair's STEM-designated MS in Computational Linguistics is the only program of its kind in New Jersey and is offered jointly by the Departments of Linguistics and Computer Science. In this session, you'll learn how the program prepares students to combine language, software, and AI expertise for high-demand careers in industry, research, and government.
