Certification & Careers
Graduates meet the academic requirements for the New Jersey Principal and Supervisor certifications. Three years of teaching or educational services experience qualify for Supervisor certification, and five years qualify for Principal certification, but you can apply to the program with less experience.
Coursework emphasizes equity and inclusion, preparing you to create school environments where all students can thrive. Faculty who are experienced leaders provide real-world insight, while internships and field experiences let you apply your learning in authentic school settings, preparing you for roles such as principal, supervisor or director at the building or district level.
