Data Science (MS)

Montclair's STEM-designated Data Science (MS) prepares students to work with complex, large-scale datasets using computational and analytical methods. Through advanced coursework and hands-on experience, students develop the technical foundation to extract meaningful insights from data and apply those skills to real-world problems across fields such as health care, science, education and social media.

Build hands-on experience with data mining, machine learning and predictive modeling.
Develop computational and analytical skills for working with complex and large-scale datasets.
Apply data science methods to real-world problems while gaining opportunities to participate in research.
