Online Teacher Certification

Elementary School Certification with Subject Matter Specialization: Mathematics Grades 5-8 (Online)

A fully online post-baccalaureate pathway for certified educators who want to add the New Jersey Middle School with Subject Matter Specialization: Mathematics endorsement for grades 5-8.

Complete five courses covering mathematics content, middle-school teaching strategies and New Jersey mathematics standards.
Strengthen your ability to teach algebra, geometry and mathematical connections while supporting student understanding.

Important Eligibility Information

The online Mathematics Education MA is designed primarily for educators, and the Grades 5-8 certification pathway requires applicants to already hold a qualifying New Jersey teaching certification. Students seeking F-1 or J-1 visa sponsorship are not eligible for the fully online Mathematics Education MA or the online Grades 5-8 certification program.
